ImageCROSS FIT*  

Cross Fit is an alternative to the traditional gym. It is a combined strength and endurance training built around constantly varying functional movements executed with high intensity. We will train with weights but especially with other functional training equipment as chin bar, rings and ropes. Functional movements are a part of our nature. In all the time humans have existed, they have stood, sat, thrown, pulled, lifted, pushed, climbed, and jumped over. These natural movements have great influence on the exercises in Cross Fit.

ImageDANCE-AEROBIC*

Basic aerobics steps are built together into a dance flow. Two rights and two lefts are replaced by a little more complicated choreography. There is focus on more liberated and dancing movements. It is a “jazzy” kind of aerobics, where the brain has to work together with the body.














ImageFITBALL*

Fitball is the physiological way of working with large exercise balls. There is focus on the body's inner and outer strength. Stabile strength exercises are combined with playful exercises that challenge your body more freely.














ImageFUNK*

Mix of street dance, hip hop and music video dance. The choreography is built up and composed like an aerobic class and therefore everyone will experience good training for their individual learning skills, physics and coordination. Last but not least, each participant will be a star in their own dance show while moving…












ImageGENERAL PHYSICAL CONDITIONING

We are going to try some basic physical exercises to improve your requisites for using your body for sports. We will also play different physical games, and have focus on “sports and fun”. In this way, we can prepare our smaller athletes to do sports in a fun way, and keep the motivation high.












ImageHI / LOW*

Offers pace, pulse and grapevines. Basic Aerobic steps are put together in a fantastic aerobics choreography, where both left and right is challenged. Hi / Low is a combination of walking and jumping step configurations.














SPECIALIZED PHYSICAL CONDITIONING FOR TUMBLING*

We will do some basic physical exercises to improve your requisites for tumbling. We will also play different physical games to prepare gymnasts for tumbling. In a fun way, we can prepare our smaller gymnasts to do tumbling, and keep the motivation high.

ImageSTEP*

Basic steps on the step board composed for a choreography that goes up, down, around and over. There will be a thorough and logical composition of the different steps, so each participant can be seduced safely by the choreography.











ImageTANGO-ROBIC*

A dancing type of aerobics, which is focused on the “flow of moving”, the tango mood and directions in the room. Simple steps are built together through a logical composition and leads participants around the world of tango: mood, temper and style.













ImageTAE BO*

Try out awesome boxing techniques with speed and grace together with a simple aerobic routine. Tae Bo is non-contact martial arts based on fitness system, and the training will build up different routines. The workshop will be challenging, fun and with a lot of activity.

 

 

 

ImageTAI CHI CHUAN

Tai Chi Chuan is well-known as a gentle art of moving, improving our well-being relaxation and mental concentration. Less known are the “push-hands” as a basic method in taichi, in which we learn together with a partner. Your partner helps you to gain experience of your inner strength and the flow of your chi, your energy. When training with a partner, learning is in the limelight and winning loses its importance. You can feel your center and the center of your partner. You can enter into a dialogue and learn a great deal about the Tai Chi Chuan principles.

 

 

 

 

ImageMIND STRETCHING WORKSHOP  -
“Give me a break!”  

Flexible mind & flexible body…relax with energizing mind & body exercises using drama, massage and relaxation techniques.

Biography/instructor: Sirkku Huuska, master of Arts, Yoga Teacher, many years experience from teaching drama workshops & relaxation for children, studies in drama & art education, stress management, relaxation therapy and Indian head massage.

ImageFLOW AND EXPRESS YOURSELF!

Come and enjoy the flowing movements and easy going music.
FlowGymnastics is a group exercise, which is based on traditional Finnish gymnastics. It has influences  from various dances.
FlowGymnastics combines aesthetical and effective movements by using the whole body.  You should try it!

Biography of instructor: I'm Marita Haapasalo from Tuusula Finland. I share my time between my family, teaching job at elementary school and doing gymnastics. Gymnastics have had, still have and will have great role in my life.
I've been coach and choreographer from early 90's. I've experience  from coaching kids of 5 years to choreographies for Gymnastrada events and projects at South-Africa. Right now I'm focusing on FlowGymnastic group called Ajattomat. It's group of experienced gymnasts who lost their heart to FlowGymnastics. I was member of the team which created FlowGymnastic. Our great idea was to invent beautiful, fluent, aesthetical genre without  strict rules. The base and foundations of FlowGymnastics is from traditional Finnish gymnastics.
